What began as a lark has turned into a dream come true. I started writing as a way to express myself. When my first book, "Honey, Hold My Purse..." was published I was thrilled. To think others would be reading my words was overwhelming and exhilarating. Things have changed so much since then.

The book is out and doing well. I've signed contracts for several others and in the months to come expect to see more Miss Deborah books including "In Celebration of Cellulite" and "202 Tween Tips" (for younger ladies). 

I've also tried my hand at writing an autobiographical work - "Not Without Blue Eyes" describes the conflict of feelings surrounding death. My father and brother died almost 10 years apart to the day and this book details how experiencing both a suicide and a murder can affect one person. It's utterly honest, raw and gripping.

My own experience with breast cancer has prompted the writing of "Kiss Me Without Lipstick" a unique look at how women living with this illness can learn to love themselves, and can teach those around them about acceptance.

I recently signed a contract for a romance novel too - "Ready, Aim, Liar" isn't your typical storybook love story. It's edgy, compelling and hot!
